Delta school ex-students unveil project to boost education in Ekuku Agbor
A group of former students of Offor Comprehensive Secondary School in Delta State, has unveiled a education initiative aimed at revitalizing learning among youths and strengthening community development in the area.
The association, known as Offor Elites, comprises members of the school’s 2006/2007 graduating set, added that the move would help ensure that the younger generation are nurtured to become good ambassadors of the state and country.
At a formal announcement, the group outlined a multi-pronged plan to improve infrastructure, inspire current students, and reconnect alumni with their alma mater.

The President of the group, Offor Elites, Stanley Brown, at the unveiling of the project, explained that the initiative reflects a long-standing commitment to giving back to the institution that shaped its members.
“The bond we built at Offor Comprehensive Secondary School remains strong nearly two decades later.
“This initiative is about giving back, to the school that shaped us, and to the students who will follow”, Brown added.
According to him, The development programme will focus on several key areas, including the renovation of classrooms, provision of essential learning materials, and the introduction of mentorship programmes designed to guide students on academic and career paths.
In a statement released after the unveiling by the groups Public Relation Officer (PRO), Fredoo Perry, the president stressed that the members planned to host annual reunions and fundraising events to sustain the initiative.

Meanwhile, he urged local leaders, and corporate organisations to support the initiative, emphasizing that collective action is key to expand opportunities for students and improve educational outcomes in Delta State.
