CEO of MMAC Company Productions, Mike Essiet, Wins “Pillar of Success” Award at Golden Star Awards 2026

The Chief Executive Officer of MMAC Company Productions, Mr. Mike Essiet, has been honored with the prestigious Pillar of Success Award at the Golden Star Awards 2026.

Mr. Essiet, who was recently nominated in the category, emerged winner in recognition of his outstanding contribution to youth talent development and his impact on the entertainment industry through music and movies.

A major highlight of his success story, the award committee noted, is the company’s critically acclaimed feature film, “Dara: A Port Harcourt Love Story.”

The film, which is the first feature-length project from MMAC Company Production, showcases the vibrant culture and gritty realities of life in Port Harcourt and explores themes of love, passion, cultism and campus violence. The project has been celebrated for telling a dynamic and compelling story about the Nigerian youth and for bringing Port Harcourt culture to the big screen.

Speaking after receiving the award, Mr. Essiet expressed deep gratitude and dedicated the honor to his support system:
