2027: What I will do differently as president – Amaechi reveals

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Rotimi Amaechi, has highlighted what he would do as president.

Speaking after appearing before the ADC presidential screening committee, Amaechi said he would abolish federal character.

NEWS9JA had reported that Amaechi earlier stormed the venue of the screening exercise decked in his Niger Delta regalia.

He said, “If I become president, I’ll abolish indigenship and allow only citizenship.

“All these I’m west, I’m north, I’m east, and you’re calling people to vote for you based on religion.

“I’ll abolish federal character. Every Nigerian will be a member of the federation.”
