2026 WCQ playoff final: Live updates from Nigeria vs DR Congo clash

Nigeria will be hoping to clinch Africa’s ticket to the intercontinental playoff final when they take on the Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday night.

The two countries saw off Gabon and Cameroon, respectively, in their semi-final matches.

But Eric Chelle’s men come into this game as slight favourites to win the game in Rabat, Morocco.

Africa’s play-off winners will progress to a six-team intercontinental qualifier, which will be staged from March 23 to 31 in 2026 and will decide the final two sides at next year’s World Cup.
