EPL: Lampard names two teams that will win title ahead of Chelsea

Former Chelsea midfielder, Frank Lampard, has tipped either Arsenal or Liverpool to win the Premier League title this season.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Lampard admitted that the Blues are not ready to compete yet.

Going into the October international break, Arsenal are top of the table with 16 points, one more than champions Liverpool.

Chelsea currently sit in seventh place with 11 points, following their 2-1 win over Arne Slot’s men.

Lampard said: “You look at how established the Arsenal squad is now and Liverpool, with the power they have of Virgil and Salah and players.

“Even though Liverpool are bringing in more players, they’ve still got that spine of players that have done it before.

“The challenge is big for Chelsea but, talent-wise, where they’ve got to from a couple of years ago… and when I went back there, you could see it a really difficult time for the club.”
